The Great ARTdoors event is a collaboration between the Spurlock Museum and local artist in the Champaign-Urbana area. There are twelve artworks, two of which were placed in the Spurlock Museum, and the rest were installed at different outdoor locations in the area.
This webpage provides information about the event as well as the locations of the ten outdoor artworks. When a user clicks on a location pin on the map, a specific artwork pops up, with details and navigation link.
Below is an embed of the event page, which could also be accessed at https://www.spurlock.illinois.edu/exhibits/profiles/artdoors-2021.html
I designed and coded the entire page. I researched on different ways of making a map with pins, including Google Map, Mapline, and Leaflet. Eventually I decided use Leaflet because it's a free source and I could have full control of the source code.
This project showcases the knowledge and use of Leaflet, HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop.
